Beautiful Cruisers! The Detachable doors were never offered for our market unfortunately. Some made their way to Yemen through their special order program but nothing mainstream. You can probably find the detachable doors out of Japan or Pakistan. Those countries had the option or...

@Letsgomoreplaces Not sure I would. But you never know. These cars in this region, you won't find online. They are usually hidden gems. And their owners know it. I bought this car offline. You can find a 74 but it has 300,000 kms on it and in a rough shape. If you're okay with that. I can...

Haha! Been around forums long enough to realize this. lol. I'm probably going to keep it. Dave is helping me source the softop parts for it. So It's going to be a dual top rig. Going to start fabbing the front bumper for it soon. The ARB I took from my troopy. I can source the AUX fuel pod...

Great info gents! @janyyc don't worry about it You guys are making me get nervous about modifying the 74. Maybe I should return it back to stock and ship it to BAT. So the 74 was limited to GCC, Japan and S. America markets?

I'm not sure if south america got the HZJ73/74? In japan they did but RHD so it would be an HZJ74R or HZJ73R. I'd still stick to the 1FZ. Nice power. Shokran! They are near impossible to find clean. Good luck habibi!

Actually on the 70 it's really not bad closing the holes for the flares. On the back side, the holes are visible from inside the panels. on the 73/74 they are really out there. So from a repair point of view, it's straigh forward. The fronts are not so visible. so for you guys living in wet...

These are OEM flares and flaps. They are usually on the LX variant of the 70 series. I prefer the aesthetic of no flare to be honest. Less parts, cleaner and less maintenance.

I distribute the NATO spec cans in Saudi. The original ones are good too. But I like to represent what I sell. I didn't really like the 06 stripes. I have classic ones ordered from Australia. Waiting for them to arrive. those would look rad! Before peeling the origianl ones off. I had to make...

Fast forward 2 months and into last weekend, this is how it sits now. I originally wanted a 10mm lift but with these 33s, it looks like we need 50mm /2" lift to have it sit right. I'll try to post as I build it and use it. I do enjoy the process.

The 74 is really rare in the GCC market. They were never popular with the removable roof. Most 70s here are either a 79 or 71. 78s and 76s are also rare but the 74 and 73 are unicorns let alone finding one in this condition. A score for sure! You will notice the plastic rear cover on the bumper...

Been chasing this exact car for 1 year or so. I got it from the original owner. He had it parked for probably 10 to 14 years he said. Here is what I got 2006 74 series LX with about 70,000 kms. Stock.
