The value in Wits End was that they sold you all the parts needed in a kit. Nothing more frustrating than buying a thermostat from your local dealer only to find that it doesn't include the gasket.

@LC4LIFE Did you replace the knuckle studs? Reason i ask is that on mine the nut covers all except the last thread on the stud while yours look like they have 3 or 4 threads showing.
Didn't think i would be using this tool ever again but the pump was leaking from the little orifice on the back end. New pump is in but i will skip step 5 until the morning and go directly to step 6. :beer:

The big stuff was bead blasted by the dude who did my cylinder head. The smaller, delicate things were cleaned, etched and painted with POR15 high temp aluminium paint. I admit i might have got a little carried away with POR15 but if you put in the effort to prep the metal the paint lasts for ages.
