Brother I went with the HX-30 super turbo, Johnny wasn’t kidding about its performance. Not only does it kicked out mad boost but lowered my EGT. I’ve still just got a VE pump but I did upgrade my diesel lift pump that I bought from The Hungry Diesel.
I was in that same pickle… I decided since I’d been working and spending so much time on the swap to just finish it with the SOA. Since then I’ve never regretted it. My wife would have a different opinion. She enjoys it now so that’s all that matters🤣

For your AC connector fitting,
I had good luck with all those type of fittings at Portland Oil Filter Specialties. I’d check to see if you have any specialty shop like that around your area.
I was going to say it took some time to get the 4WD linkage dialed in. My first trip wheeling in the snow and went into 4L easily but would not come out. I had to go to the passenger side and move the lever and it came out and shifted fine into 4H then was easy to shift to 2H in the drivers...
