If you're looking at stops around that length, Timbrens might be a good fit. Been super happy with mine and I don't miss the hard bottom you get with stock rubber stops.

Eh, wouldn't matter if you prep and etch the floor. It'd still peel from vapor pressure due to moisture under the slab, unless you have plastic under the slab which is almost never installed in a garage.
I'm a big fan of polishing and densifying the slab. Polishing makes the floor super smooth...
