Many of you probably saw the one in Richmond VA, listed here in Classifieds.....he put it up for auction and best I can tell it sold for around $16k (seems to have been the reserve, which was not met, but the site said the last bid was just $250 off reserve)
Seems like a great deal for a 3X...
He didn't bother to really clean/ detail the LC (looked like a leak at the bell housing, shifter leather was beat up, etc)......I bet if he had, and had addressed a few small things, it would have gone for $45k to $50k......
@Ossy did you buy the green '94? Seems like a killer deal! Bummer about the cracked dash but an 80 right now with under 200k miles for around 5k is a steal
I watched the end of the auction. The winning bidder seemed to already have the high bid at $34k, then upped his own bid to $37k. Guess he really wanted it...?!
I think that one could have gone even higher with better pics.
With brilliant marketing such as below (from the ad), I'm sure you could beat the BAT record of $136k for the 1k mile Cruiser with their help!!
WE ARE OLD SCHOOL SO PLEASE DON'T TRY TO TELL US WHATS THE BEST FOR THIS VEHICLE. THIS ONE UNIT IS SPECIAL AND WE ALL KNOW IT.
I'm pretty surprised at this sale on BAT.......$39k!? With 163k miles. I get that it's a CA truck, good color combo, 2 owners with records, and in good condition.......but still probably would have been a $20 to $25k truck not long ago! Guess it is the BAT effect...
Are we taking bets on final price? I think it will go 6 figures at least......maybe a bidding war at the end up to $150k or even $200k? Rich people with a lot of money thinking "where am I going to get another one?" Should be interesting....
