Coolant leak is fixed. What do you all suggest I do when trying solve the high oil pressure? I ran the engine for about 20 minutes today. Oil pressure stayed high the entire time. Check engine light came on 😩. Did not read the code yet.
Now down to the nitty gritty. I have reached the point of this project where I am ready to give up and call for help.

I am sorry that I did not do a good job of keeping up on this thread. I have a lot of good updates and some not so good.
Putting the head back together was a blast. Definitely helped having an extra set of hands when reinstalling/re-seating the valves. It is sparkling clean...
Made some good progress today. Only one sheered bolt 🤬. Thank god it was an easy fix.
Some things I learned today:
The zip tie placement on the timing chain guides and sprocket makes life a lot easier. I made 3 adjustments before doing it right.

It’s amazing how something so cheap and seemingly insignificant can derail a project. Finally got the $4 o-ring in today. Reassembly finally starts today.

Got the head back from the machine shop and put back together. *Pro tip* get a buddy to help you re seat the valves 😂
Pulled the pans, timing cover, chain and gear set. Things look as expected. The last person to go through this over torqued every nut and bolt down so that’s been fun...
update:
Engine is finally out. Took longer than anticipated. Lessons learned so far and not in any particular order:
- the wiring harness is a nightmare to deal with if you don’t remove the intake manifold before pulling the engine…expect to break some connectors
-the bell housing bolts on top...
Anyone have a thread or advice on resealing the upper and lower pans?
4 of my fuel injector connections basically broke in half when removing the engine :( is this an easy fix
