    I share this opinion. Why put up with the 80’s shortcomings if you don’t wheel it and wheel it hard. That is where it shines. Love mine, but don’t take it skiing, or on long road trips on the interstate.

    I’d buy a 100 series for the OP intended use if it needs to be a Cruiser. Better HWY ride quality and more power to climb the pass with a heated ass. That said any nearly Subaru will outperform an 80/100 at HWY speeds in snow.
