His general rule of thumb is basically no response unless something to report, whether that is good or bad. So I wouldn’t worry much at this point. He was putting his wife’s health issues out there in the public eye but quit some time ago. Not because she is healthy again. It was just too much.

Up to a year, it’s been just shy of 10 months. Pretty sure he posted a long time ago that he wasn’t going to post play by play status of kits based on the overwhelming production problems both during and post Covid. So I’d say you don’t have anything to worry about with respect to delivery. I...

Cross posting this gauge option. With enough interest he will produce an option with air/fuel making this a near perfect option for us with the Wits End Turbo. If you have not seen this thread please take a look. I for one am all in on this solution for extra gauges without cluttering up my...

Towed my camper up to Silverton this weekend. First time towing over a pass since the turbo install. Nice to travel faster with a trailer than I could prior without.

Correct, I just haven't had the time yet to attempt anything on my end. If you cut one please make more, I don't have that kind of toy.

I've got the same concern after finishing my install this weekend. I tried to give that harness as much space as possible but thought the same thing. How do we clock the MAF housing to get the harness plug to face outboard? It would also make for a cleaner path for the harness itself to stay...

I’m sure he has been given an ETA from his supplier which at this point he doesn’t want to share as suppliers rarely come through on schedule due to the completely screwed up supply chain for materials. I know many here are tired of that “excuse” and post their frustrations but it’s an honest...

The blanket will be like 1000% more effective.

I did both with cerokote and expect both to burn off after seeing what my exhaust manifolds and heat shields look like with normal EGT’s.

My plan was to break mine in about 3000 miles. Then covid hit and I've got a solid 15,000 now on the rebuild hoping to finally install the turbo in Sept this year.

Something like this, because if Burt wouldn’t approve neither will I.

did you even read the details online before ordering? Or this and/or the development thread? Certainly you educated yourself before spending $6K. Supply chains for everything is a joke. I ordered some MTB hubs a year ago from Chris King. Still waiting. And those don’t have nearly the amount of...

I’m going to look for some flex pipe as a temp solution for the drive.

This trip to the exhaust shop has been the main delay installing my turbo. I'm figuring I'll have to trailer the truck to town somehow to have someone bugger weld it as we don't have anything resembling a speed shop in Durango.

I say boost it. My original engine looked great inside with 248K on it but had lost a bunch of power. The timing chain had a lot of stretch. Engine builder was pretty confident timing was the reason for power loss. So replacing a timing chain on a high mile engine makes sense to me if all...

I'll have that data in a couple months for you but not Vail Pass specifically. I can say I have to climb Coal bank pass down here in the same way, 2nd gear and flogged to hold 50/55. My buddy with his Safari Turbo can run at 65 with his hard side camper in tow. We are both 4.88/37's. I'm...

I'm also looking forward to the towing performance. We have not used our pop-up much simply as towing it over the pass is just too stressful in 1st gear constantly. Starcraft 10/RT I did a full engine rebuild, turbo goes on once the weather warms up.
