I would consider this a full resto and mechanical resto minus exterior paint.
Exterior tells all the stories on this rig from its years at Edwards Air Force Base as a mech support vehicle to its latest years and past few owners.
Once I decide to pass it along I hope the next person appreciates...
Hibernation mode for the winter unless I’m going to finish a few small jobs.

- powder coated window regulators and door access panels
- warn 8274 mounting
- finishing paint and mount hi-lift
- quick-n-easy gutter mounts and roof bars
Upholstery was finally completed. Few missing screws but it’s done for the most part.
Need to mount the 4 individual jack rod clips. Does anyone have pictures of location where these need to go?
Intake was polished aswell as the fuel filter housing/bracket.
New washer bottle is on snail mail USPS from @ToyotaMatt
Also a pretty rare I am told vintage TEQ DIESEL cap.
Next was some trans tunnels mods to convert from column shift to floor.
Ebony custom shift knobs made by Rodak Garage, I’ll grab some better photos of these in a few days.
Cracked turbo housing was replaced with a TD05 16G from Jon at Dark Fox Diesel Injection.
Also had a local guy do the polish work on the crossovers and he also did all polish work throughout the build.

Motor was then pulled again for final welds and paint. Re-installed the aprons and fenders. Added a custom battery relocation bracket from Dave at 4 Plus Products. Optima yellow top added for some battery bling…
