interesting. My truck came with one key and it’s more than likely a copy of a copy since it’s not a Toyota key. I often have to flip it over to turn the ignition and I think it works in only one of the doors. I never lock the truck partially because I’m afraid the key won’t let me back in lol...
In theory, should all the lock cylinders on a particular truck have the same code? For example if you had the code from one cylinder, you could cut a new key and it “should” work for all locks? As long as a door or ignition cylinder wasn’t replaced by a PO of course...
