Currently On the Road: CDL Stuck & PCS Error

I didn't know much about this road going into it. There is very little beta out there. From the maps I found, it appears to be an in and out at 2.9mi one way. We took it about 2 miles in, but didn't go all the way in because we came across a frozen hole and there was no way to test the depth...

@Artie you may be familiar with where this happened. We were over at Three Sisters Mountain in Dahlonega. FS 135, I believe. Cool little trail.

Im certain I clipped it after we went through a deep, frozen rut. I’m searching for the part numbers, but no joy yet.

Well, well, well… I would think if someone went through the trouble to develop an armor product for these, it’s not a cheap and simple fix. Anyone have a part number?

This was a curiosity of mine early on given that we broke some ice in one spot, but I have zero experience tinkering with ABS. I may search around and see if I can find locations of components. I’d really like to just lightly spray the wheels and brake systems down, but the hoses are frozen...

It’s blinking. The photo caught it in between flashes. If it’s blinking Inwould guess it’s not locked either. I just wish there was a tell tail sign that it is or isn’t on. I may get in and drive to Auto Zone and get the code read.

Thanks Fisher. Good thought, but I’ve cleaned the PCS sensor. I disconnected for 30 minutes and am getting the same dash lights. Should I go longer?

Went thru small amount of water/ice at slow speed today. The undercarriage of the truck was not wet - only the wheels and brakes.

Edit: posted the wrong photo initially. Current is the current cluster situation. CDL is blinking. Cruise Control not functioning. I did wipe the radar clean when I cleaned the front-facing surface of the PCS sensor.

Thanks guys. On the highway now - no way to avoid it. Having owned 200s for a handful of years I’ve read lots about the water entry related issues. I will say that this thing stays garaged and we haven’t had rain in about 10 days. I’ll pull the trim and check the connections by the driver...

If feels like it’s engaged when I turn. I think I can feel the wheel traction skip.

Thanks guys. I have my tools. Just disconnected the battery for 10 mins and reconnected. Same errors: Check PCS system error, ABS, ! triangle, TRAC square and blinking CDL. I have not tried going in reverse and popping into neutral. Will do that now. Do we think it’s safe to drive home...

I’m not in low currently, but it feels like the CDL is locked when I turn. Trying to get to a spot to disconnect the battery. I’ve tried reverse and still locked. No code reader.

Hey guys. No time to thoroughly search bc I’m on the road. Fairly new to me 2013 LC Road a mild trail today. Tested 4lo and CDL before hitting the trail. Everything engaged and disengaged as it should have. Hit some wet ruts but nothing very wet. I hear a ding (looking back on it this...
