    That is good to know, I will have to add this to my to do list. Looking at my valve cover someone took an old one and added the filler cap to the back of it. Why they put the cap on the back and not the front beats me.

There might be a transition year kind of thing where Toyota made a 1F valve cover with a cap on it but I am not aware...

    For my mustang I run a 1966 vintage tag on the outside and just keep my registered tag and registration in the trunk of the car. A cop has never stopped me or asked to see my plates before. I believe as long as you keep your registered tag somewhere in the vehicle you will be fine.

    I wouldn't let the sbc not being original drive you crazy. To me the biggest thing is just being able to get out and enjoy these old trucks and have fun in them. If the chevy is reliable I would keep it in the truck and upgrade other things to your rig and do the engine swap last. I have a...
