That was my original guess but subsequent research has lead me to think the high pressure or input port is the smaller, 14 mm one. Really wanted to see what others know.
Thank you for your interest and concerns… three bolts: two thru sleeves inside the frame. Third bolt thru a welded sleeve on the bottom of the frame. Plate does not appear to be welded to the frame.

I did find that on a Saginaw gearbox the low pressure...
I need to get a new power steering high pressure hose made and I am looking for some assistance in identifying the high pressure port on the gearbox. The gearbox came with my ‘78 FJ40 truck when I bought it in Sep 2009.
