How’s it drive with the shims?

Great question. You may want to experiment. I was told with my lift that a 4 degree shim was the optimal amount. I've driven it a lot with these 4 degree shims and without any shims... 4 degrees feels great.

After my lift on Falcor I put in 4 degree shims and it made a world of difference. No more random wandering on slightly tracked freeway sections, return to center felt better and virtually zero bump steer. I really like the ones that Valley Hybrids offers, they're super high quality.

Looks like the same ones I used, it sure does clean it up. Plus adding components like an auxiliary fuse panel or lights is much easier. Nice work!

Losing a dog is so hard, I'm sorry. I suppose the only thing anyone can do is just keep moving forward. Having a project sure does help.

This is why I love reading people's builds. I'd never heard of this and want one!!

It sure feels good to get rid of the aftermarket stuff, especially when you can combine that with adding new OEM stuff to actually repair the issue correctly. Nice work!!

That hose being rubbed through by the belt looks just like mine did before I replaced it. Mine wasn't at the point of leaking but I wonder if this is something to keep an eye on in the future.
