I still have drums in my 70. I don't trail it hard or anything. I had my drums gone thru and try to keep them in good condition.
For a safety issue I will do it some day. For now I will get by. Depends on how you use it. Really can't go wrong with the switch.
Mine looked lonely yesterday out in the back garage.
The temp was above 30 for the first time in quite awhile so I started it and let it run for a while.
Started right up and I gave it a mouse inspection. Found a towel that was chewed a little but all looked good.
No leaks or anything so...
My local window and glass installer did mine last year.
He had the rubber gaskets and everything. Cut the glass on site, traced the old one.
I live in a small town of about 20,000 people to. There are 3-4 shops that will do it here.
Total was $160 with glass, install and gasket.
I did my own. First time trying to be neat welding for me. Had to do a lot of grinding but it
turned out good. I couldn't see bringing it to a body shop. Not why I bought it.
I have a 70 also. I finally got so tired of messing with the light wiring I had to take it in to a shop.
Come to find out there was a bad ground that I did not see and the flasher had a short in it.
Lots of previous owner bad fixes to deal with. I hope yours works out.
How did you fit your roll bar with the full length jump seats.
I have the same year and guessing you had some special mounting brackets made.
A picture would be great. Thanks in advance.
I changed my shocks last night. Went pretty well for the first time doing it.
Also a picture of my top lifted with the new lift from Amazon. Works great.
