Given what that truck has been through over the (last 10?) years I'm impressed it went this long without some major failure. Not surprised, but impressed.
My truck is back up for sale - had a couple people interested but both fell through and then I was out of town for a while. Posted on CL for $1800 but I'd knock $500 off for a forum member. Selling to get an 80 :).

The one thing you haven't mentioned, perhaps because it went without saying, is cleaning all the connectors to the sensors...

Yes, I found that as well. A lot of the threads just ran out of steam once the OP found a solution.
Now that it's running it's on to the other bits and pieces. Door locks don't work right, shocks are blown, spare tire hanger is seized solid, ebrake is sticking, knuckles need new seals...
