I took the day sweating my butt off snaking wires down my Shadow awning... let there be light!
Not bad for $30. I got 3 60” lights for a truck bed. These are quite a bit sturdier than the peal and stick strip LEDs
I am one to highly recommend a RTT, but I will say this... if you can, try setting one up once or twice and then strike it, especially if you want to put on an annex. I’ve spent the last 5 summers camping with the family and my set up has evolved to what it is now... two alu-cab Gen 3 tents and...
I love my Slee skids, but holy F*$% that rear is a heavy momma-jomma to put up by yourself. I can do it pretty easy in the driveWay with my hydraulic table on one side and a jack, but damn is it a pain solo.
Ok... so this may help... I just ran the number on the cat and it is a magniflow Cali carb complient cat. # 447266. It says it is direct replacement for our 100’s so I would expect o2 sensors to work but they aren’t... only that Toyota part number that seems to be from a late 90's Japanese...
Ok... so my ‘99 began throwing all 4 codes for 02 sensors about a month ago... nothing ran bad, it was just an annoying check engine light that we would immediately clear with the scan gauge. I figured I’d by 4 new Denso ones and just replace them and all went well on the front.
Well, then I...
Hey All...
I got the Speski Pet Barrier for a 100 series earlier this summer for Reaper
, but it turns out that I couldn't make them work with my Emu Wings. They are the black powder coated ones and are in Like New Condition and are PERFECT. New they are $420 plus shipping if they even have...
sorry.. that was a typo... 170 was 190.
The temp when it got to 210 were on elevation climbs where we were climbing 8-10% grades.
95% of the time the water temp was 191-200.
Ok guys... sorry for no reply, but we have just been driving home... at 61 mph since the truck won’t go into overdrive for 4K Miles.
So let me answer a few questions.
Yes, the scan gauge is showing a water temp of 190-210 and the atf is running 150-200+ depending on the passes. (HOLY CRAP...
Hey guys,
Yes it was a power flush. Toyota in Portland did it and I specifically talked to the master tech that worked on the truck.
As for temp, yes the atf fluid is up to temp as the scan gauge is reading 145-180. It just won’t go into overdrive at all.
Where exactly is the shift solenoid?
Hello all,
So I’m on the road, 4000 miles from home with the family and have run into a problem. My supercharged 99 has decided it doesn’t want to go into fourth gear. YES I MADE SURE THE OD BUTTON WASNT PRESSED!
Right now I’m in Forks, WA. The problems started after I left the FJ Summit in...
For anyone worried... AJ is one of the best sellers I have encountered. I can honestly say he is now one of my real friends! AJ, this thing rocks! Someone needs to buy "Jeffe Pitufo"
OMG we LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. I just picked it up on our way out to Colorado and it is Amazing. Coming from a CVT on our FJ and an ARB on our trailer, setting up camp was 15-30 minutes and breaking camp was about 30 normally.
Now... it is literally 30 seconds to have the tent up and ready for...
Stelah decided she had too many wheels on the ground and wanted to be a like my GSA on 2 wheels.... My wife thinks its because Kelly hasn't sent her new round eyes and grill so she couldn't see well !!! Luv ya @kelly saad, look at that grill!!!!!
She can stuff the 35" in the rear...
If you don’t have one of @reevesci's lids... get one. These things are awesome!!!! And FYI... my 12 year old did most of the cutting on the tailgate to get it in. Its easy.
Thanks Jason
It’s an Alu-cab Gen 3 Expedition Tent.
Set up in 30 seconds and strike in under a minute. Being we have 2 RTTs to put up and down every day... this is the only real thing we don’t like about camping. 30-60 minutes every morning can drag when you’re on the road for 30 or more days.
My wife...
I finished spending a bunch of money... but the wife wholeheartedly approved. We are leaving to go get it in a couple days!!!! I didn’t want to transfer the CVT from my FJ anyway :)
