I did something similar with mine, though no riser and I followed the contours at the back. I may redesign it soon - having a tiered system like @yeos would be super helpful.
I'd reach out to Coastal Offroad and ask - I imagine they'd sell you just the bar, though you'd have a bit of work to do to fit it (the bumper with hoops has holes through multiple layers of the bumper structure to accommodate, it's not just welded in on the surface - though I suppose you could...
How's this working out? I also have a manifold tick and would prefer long tubes, but only if I can get it working nicely with a cat. I have no desire to run around catless.
I have not used one myself but I have heard that the updated Grom Vline v2 is better than the older ones -- with an 07+ nav screen, it may be a usable alternative to a conversion. The Tesla-style units are also far more common/popular/available now, so other options besides a conversion do...
It comes on every 5k miles as an oil change reminder.
Turn the ignition on (do not start the engine), switch the odometer until it goes to the main odometer reading (not trip a/b), turn ignition off.
Press and hold the odometer button, turn ignition on (do not start the engine), and keep...
I'm happy with mine as well - 3 years and 33k miles so far. Just swapped from Performance to Performance w/accessories rear springs - was getting a little heavy for the Performance set.
A 5th gen 4Runner with KDSS has the same KDSS brackets as a KDSS GX470. Most 5th gens don't have KDSS, so they would have different sway bar brackets.
The part number for a GX460 rear sway bar is 48805-60160: 48805-60160 - Genuine Lexus BAR SUB-ASSY, REAR STABILIZER This part number cross...
I installed an e-locked 8.2 with KDSS from a 2013 4Runner in my 2005 GX470. It was completely plug and play. The KDSS brackets lined up perfectly with the GX470 KDSS rear sway bar.
Lots of reading on the GXOR group got me through -- there's enough info out there now where it's possible. You do have to make sure to get the right model non-nav HVAC controls, otherwise it'll all look like it works (you'll even get idle-up) but the AC compressor won't engage. I am no...
I doubt it will work -- I believe the screen resolution is different. I have an 05 nav unit gathering dust in my garage...if you want to pay for shipping and share your results with GXOR, you're welcome to it. Looks like they're about 300 bucks on eBay, so if you sell it when you're done and...
