    BJ42 Radiator Fun

Hey guys sorry about the inactivity, been swamped with school for the past few months. My radiator showed up in December and I got around to throwing it in near the end of January. Went in pretty easy and works great! Glad to have her back on the road, especially during that snowfall!

    BJ42 Radiator Fun

Now all I'm really worried about is finding a good radiator hose that will be able to bend around from the thermostat to the other side of the rad without getting to kinked. It's quite the awkward angle. I'm sure I'll figure something out, not a huge issue.

    BJ42 Radiator Fun

Thanks for the advice guys. I tried getting in contact with the guy at alpine a few months ago when my rad first cracked. Called a few times, went in person a few times but couldn't get a hold of him so I kind of gave up. I think for now I'll throw in an aluminum one, managed to find one for...

    BJ42 Radiator Fun

So I've been needing a new radiator for a while now, I've decided I want a new aluminum one instead of getting mine rebuilt. Found something that kinda irks me while looking online. Mine has no PS so my inlet is on the driver side. Now, my dads BJ40 has his inlet on the passenger side, since his...

    TLC on UsedVictoria thread... (ongoing)

Surprise surprise, my dad snagged this one up. All in pieces but damn it's clean. The old man knew what he was doing and re-did everything. You could eat off the frame, all body parts are rust free, new suspension, came with a bunch of original papers and books and pictures, and a 4 bolt 350...

    40 Series Half Ambulance Doors

If you don't find anything you could always a good ol' piece of plywood. I bought a tailgate from Specter a few years ago, got the square indents like the factory doors do. I just checked their site and not sure if the price went up like crazy or if I was crazy enough to buy it back then! There...

    3B Thermostat

Got a nice thermostat from Burnz a few days ago, running beautifully. Started off running halfway on the temp gauge for a while and even got up to 3/4, but it's settled itself out and I've put fresh coolant in, now it's running like a dream.

    3B Thermostat

Yeah I said it was the 3.4 diesel at both locations and they gave me the same part number. It does look a lot different then the original. Haven't had a chance to test fit it yet because of the weather right now, but most likely it's the wrong part. Here's a picture. Guess I'll have to make my...

    3B Thermostat

Yesterday I had a sudden spike in temperature which I thought was a result of my slow leaking rad, but my patch was still intact. Checked the thermostat in boiling water this morning and lo and behold, that was the issue. Drove around today without it and holy crap it has never ran quieter...
