    Best replacement leather seat covers

I bought my 93 leather front replacement seat covers from LCH and they came in from South America as I was told they would. The estimated time was two months but it took about three. The workmanship is excellent as is the grey color match. I’ll post some before and after pics soon. OP... your LC...

    Shopping for an HDJ81...in Japan

Thx P308, My dad was to go to San Diego after the Nazis fell. He was with the 8th B17 bomb group out of England (many lost as you know) and then was to train on B24’s. The Pacific theatre ended while he was in transit to SD. A couple years later I hit the one in a billion lucky lottery!! I...

    Shopping for an HDJ81...in Japan

First off ... Thanks for your service. My dad was AAC in WW11. 8th. I would have taken the first LC you posted possibly because of the many things you do want (and factory tinted windows .... my 1993 has them and they are great) along with the turbo and 24V engine. Lockers too! You might...

Thx Gummy, Do you know of a good Axle swap thread here? Pictorial would be really helpful.

    1993 FZJ80 Locker Advice Help

Thanks for the info. I am unclear on axel lockers vs the differential CDL. I did not know about locking the diff when I dropped into low in the front end. I have always just thought I was in permanent 4WD in H or L. Reading the Slee FAQ I came across this info 3.7

    1993 FZJ80 Locker Advice Help

I’m considering lockers for my ‘93 and have read threads and watched vids on YouTube but remain unclear if a factory CDL locker switch will do anything if wired from under the dash or left drivers side kick plate. Basically asking if Toyota had standard equipment lockers but some made without...

What all handguns will fit in the Wit's End console box?

Or just buy several and find one that fits. Always a good excuse for adding to the collection.

What all handguns will fit in the Wit's End console box?

Since this is still going I suggest anyone wanting to fit a box or anything else for that matter (if they can’t measure accurately) simply cut a piece of wood to max width X length X height until a desired fit is achieved. Then measure it up to compare to your end item choices.

    Don’t pull stumps...

Damned hard lesson but for $2,200. I’d take my dozer to Colingas and yank a few stumps out for you.

What all handguns will fit in the Wit's End console box?

If the griz could fit the box you wouldn’t have to worry about shooting it now would ya!

Maybe the moose or buck but that griz can still be ready to seek serious revenge.

Better learn to use RockAuto where you can. Had to buy an alternator last week. Dealer wanter 450.00 for new Denso and I bought a Denso reman for 109.00 delivered (once I get the core to them). Got the alternator in TWO DAYS. Some things the dealers (and I said dealers as in plural) are...

What all handguns will fit in the Wit's End console box?

My wife is a great shot. She keeps her 44 S&W mod 29 in the bottom box between the front seats. No joke... she loves the 44 mag but she shoots 44 Special instead of the mag load in it.

Do the motors work? The seats are easy to take out. Two bolts front and two back. Be sure to unplug the motor harness and you are free. The plastic end caps are known for stripping and are replaced with an aftermarket piece that I found on this forum. Google search will get you there too...

She looks like mine. I recently got the leather kit but haven't had time to do em yet. If you try to keep em reasonably dry they will last a long time. I prefer leather.... just my .02 cents

No More High Idle on Cold Start

I have a 93 and I’m following every word here. Great effort in trying to find the bug. After warmup my idle falls to 400 rpm. So I have a dog in this fight too.

I’ve had my ‘93 for 24 years. It’s not for sale and won’t be. Plenty of power, creature comforts, rugged, safe, room for lots of gear, fairly easy to work on, reliable. Heat in the winter and cold in the summer. Cruise control long drives, great back support, hatch easy to load and access...

    Alternator rebuild

Well my '93 alt made over 300,000 miles. Mine went out yesterday and I dropped it off today to a rebuild shop next to my shop. I spent my time R&R seals on a forklift hydraulic leak. Shop said it'll be ready in a day or two. I'll post the results.
