Ooh this might have to be my next Land Cruiser... :) Need to swap out those wheels though but otherwise looks pretty darn good! Since the Divorce Cruiser isn't anywhere close to being worked on, this will allow me to have the blue cruiser I've always wanted lol...
I went to a boat shop and here is what they suggested. I then used Rustoleum epoxy appliance paint (I believe biscuit color) to cover it all up. Has held up very well. My roof work starts on page 69 or 70 of my build thread. The epoxy primer and barrier coat is thick and dries quickly. The...

Link to this heat shield product please! Thank you! I've read about water/condensation issues, assuming that is why you have the lower part open, correct?

Totally unrelated to my Land Cruiser, but this was the latest project I did at my house. I think it might have been easier to work on this electrical than my Cruiser's electrical lol. I have to admit it is nice seeing the energy company paying you! Should pay for itself in about 4 years...
I installed the very first test set of @Racer65 weatherstrip for my 74 and it fit perfectly and my doors close perfectly and the seal is nice. I've heard people mention that it is too dense/thick to close doors but I didn't have that problem at all. As noted above, the key is using the EDPM...
Looks like @Racer65 is up to his usual antics and creating awesome replacement products for our beloved Land Cruisers. Check out this door hole plug - fits perfectly and has the original shape too! Finally a plug that looks like the real McCoy! Well done!

Instead of trying something out that may or may not work, why not get OEM:

$130 for both doors. Roger is as good a vendor there is here on MUD.
Is this OEM weatherstrip? From @Racer65 's website:
Genuine OEM front door weatherstrips for '63 to 6/'72 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40.
Note:
It's known that these OEM weatherstrips will make the doors protrude out a bit and harder to close. Things will eventually settle with time.
