Yeah, Jim. I've the best intentions, but we all know that adage about Hell and paving...
I've been on the road six of the last eight weeks, from McCall to Hong Kong to Ohio. I really do want to assist and have the skill set to do so, just missing the time piece.
Thanks for the nudge.
@J Mack - you around Boise next Wednesday (9/13)? I'll be in town for a day or two. If the offer stands, I'll swing out and borrow those samples you mentioned.

Heya everyone. I elbowed my way into Kelly's (@2fpower ) email chain. @Owyhee Jackass volunteered my services to help make sense of what they sent for kit breakdowns.
I responded to Kelly and told him it looks good - the vendor is indeed committing to all items listed on the vehicle-specific...
Is the quality and fit of these confirmed? Seems like a steal compared to stateside aftermarket options. Can everyone please report back as they install and break 'em in?
I will, perhaps, maybe, someday buy the full kit and start working on the body, paint, headliner, etc. For now I'm enjoying...

OH man, this is huge. I've been hunting around for years. I'll download this and give it a go for my '62.
You got a venmo account? PM me your info so I can send you some beer money.

Also: OEM FJ62 electric mirror, right hand side. Original glass (I think). Works and in pretty good shape. Painted black as the original chrome was flaking.
$50.
For that price you could flip it in the normal forum and make a hundred bucks ;).
So I invested in a FrontRunner Slimeline II rack for my FJ62. Also dumped a bunch of cash into the various accessories (boxes, mounts, etc.). I have some extra I'm not going to use. Not sure if anyone local has one of these racks, but let me know if you're interested in anything below - I'd part...
Hey guys. I posted this up on the Google Group as well, but: looking for a front right mudflap for my 60-series. I lost one in the snow and ice here in Ketchum last week, darn it. Please let me know if you have something around. Thank you!
Calvin
Absolutely. What I would advise is this: if you're willing to go with a manufacturing method different than Mr. Yota did (which they did for high volume, low-cost reasons), look for ways to improve! In other words, maybe you can beef up the arms where the OEMs bust, or....? I did this on the...
Digging in here, Justin's not gouging price too badly. The technology and demand has gone up in price. So I'll add another item to my list above:
4) Pursue alternative mfg vendors.
