Scheel Mann international distributor here.
They are one of the best seats for the 70 series without a doubt.
A few things to keep in mind:
the 70 sits tall compared to other vehicles, so you want the seat to be as flat as possible for getting in and out. The vario F is a great option here...
Thanks. Yea i was hoping to get the O.E.M type working. Its more reliable. but we will see. I didn't abandon the idea yet.
No CC on GCC spec 7x. I think on the 24+ they will be an option for the autos
No light comes on. But the car in the GCC configuration never had Cruise Control as an option.
I think from a wiring standpoint, everything is now there. But maybe it needs the drivers from the ECU.
So if I swapped the ECU to an Australian market type. I would now have to figure out injectors...
It doesn't have the switch and I think you are right. I did check with part diagrams but couldn't find it listed for AUS market.
I think this might be the correct switch to use. then need to figure out how to wire the switch.

Hello all,
I'm trying to get the factory cruise control to work on my GCC spec Troopy.
So far, I've added the blue wire to the ECU pin 40. I've changed the clock spring to accept the cruise control wire. But the cruise control is not working.
I'm questioning whether the ECU has the drivers...
It is doable but requires some fabrication.
I was planning to do the same for my 78. The plan was to do a 76 rear tank behind the axle. on paper it should fit but under the chassis there is a lot of difference. Mainly the rear crossmember.
So I will be doing the install but on a 75 troopy and...
I appreciate the discussion and all is good info!
When you turn on the compressor, let's say an ARB compressor. And there is nothing connected to it. It runs for a few seconds (builds up pressure) then the pressure switch kills power. The pressure I think is around 100 PSI (not sure on this...
I'm running a York 210 I think on my FSJ Chief. It's amazing how fast it is when filling up the 41" tires. It's almost as fast as the power tank. I'm really amazed.
On most vehicles, I'm using the ARB twin compressor. I think today they are the standard when it comes to compressors. It is...
Hi Ali,
The application I intend to use this system for is probably not your average person's requirement. We have an annual trip where we are off-grid for 14 to 18 days and are airing up/down every day. Sometimes, 3 times a day for 6 tires (2 for trailer). It gets real old real fast. Like...
It depends on dealer specs. early years had no ac or heat. cars designated for Taif and Abha had no AC or heat. But they all started to have them as standard option from mid 90s. There were a few odd balls that didn't have ac or heat but those typically were mining cars that were ordered with 0...
If it should work, I might have been working with the wrong regulator for the application. This might be the case. But since you design and R&D in the pneumatic world, i'd love to see your setup for auto inflating. I know you've described it, but it would be nice to see pictures.
The way I...
CO2 is heavy and requires fill-ups. It's not suitable for where I use my truck. I do however use it on my rock crawlers. Its fast and with a monster valve, takes less than 10 seconds.
The regulator I tried was from Parker.
I tried this
and this
They both didn't stop at the targeted PSI...
