I've become sold on the 3-in-1 instant coffee from the Asian market. It's inexpensive, and tastes absolutely nothing like American instant packets. They seem to start with good coffee, and add some sort of creamer and a small amount of sugar. Check it out:
The Toyota Dextron transmission fluid is one of the few things they sell at the dealer that is actually inexpensive. Flushing the torque converter is a bit controversial. When I baselined my "new to me" truck, I wanted to replace the fluid. I dropped the pan the first time, clean the magnets...
Here is my T100 Flippac build. It's a 1997 Toyota T100 with the 3.4 5VZFE and supercharger. I've left the mechanicals otherwise stock, other than adding a skid plate and getting some upgraded Bilstein shocks. And rebuilding the motor. The Flippac comes as a shell/tent assembly, and I built out a...
I've been running the Truckfridge TF-51 for about a year. I bought it because it's got a digital thermostat, lights inside and the Danfoss compressor. I also like the format (tall and skinny) for the way I have my truck laid out. It will hold full wine bottles, and power consumption is on a par...

I have a '97 T100 with a rebuilt 5VZFE. It has a fresh cooling system (radiator, Toyota water pump and properly-installed OEM thermostat). It's fine at every time except Summer in Southern California and Nevada. I find myself having to turn off the A/C on long grades and having to watch the temp...
The butterfly is a great know, and one we use a lot on the search & rescue team. It's our go-to whenever a knot is needed mid-rope. It's secure yet still prety easy to untie after having been loaded. The other knots we use:
Bowline (needs to be finished/backed up if used for life support)...
I built one out on the previous shell on my Toyota. I did the following:
1. Welded in a stretched steel floor. The plywood it had before didn't tolerate rain well.
2. Fabricated Hi-Lift jack mounts on the left side and welded them in
3. Added Quickfist clamps and mounted my shovel on the right...
