    Yea I was thinking light industrial coating like they use on heavy equipment too. Can I use the slide box on an SR? Seems like the spring end would need to travel upward so have the box sloped. Where it would mount on the frame is not flat/level.

    Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to wait till I get the front axle to figure out what I'll need to do. When trussing the rear all the way out to the end should i remove the shafts and replace the seals or will it be fine doing it while assembled?

    I'll check it out, sounds pretty simple really. Nice I'll measure the exact wms to wms on this rear I just got from you and when I order a 62 front from cruiserparts.net I'll see exactly how much I need to add to get close to the same width and clear my diff.

    And that 2-5/8" extension was enough to clear your diff really well with the perch? Looks like it from the photo. Would it be worth chucking the axle extender in the lathe and taking the excess material off so that it matches the shaft or am I over thinking it?
