I am trying to retitle a classic NorCal fj55
The cruiser in question is in my profile pic for Ih8Mud
It's a '76 with a very distinctive black-on-white paint job from quite a long time ago, has an early Chevota swap(crate 350 and Turbo400), and I could swear was photographed in Toyota...

This is probably gonna be best for someone with a rotted pig who needs to do a full frame-off to bring their dreams to reality, hah!
Here's the scoop:
This 55 body is in amazing condition, as is it's chassis..but, this is so because it sat as-is for nearly 15 years. I found it and...
Had it tested today at NAPA, and it works fine... feel free to ask any questions, as the NAPA tester didn't provide much detailed diagnostics on it as to how much amps it's pushing, etc... just that it engages and disengages fine. Sounds clean when operating.
Gave it a good wire wheel...

I have some sweet vintage Toyota rally rims... Magnesium composite... They were on my last 60 with these tires and looked great.. I'm working on a fj55/turbodiesel project and want to put the same tires on these rims without breaking the bank... the project aint cheap! :lol...
Not sure if the all the Iron Faithful have seen this, or if it's even of much interest... but I started a thread in the diesel column that I'm hoping turns into a pretty sick project...
I am on DAY 1 of a new Cruiser project... the fun is about to begin!
I am open to enthusiast input!!
I came across an FJ55 last week unexpectedly, and purchased it without a game-plan. I've been keeping my eyes peeled for over ten years for one like this, and couldn't let it slip away. :)...

I have a cruiser wagon that I recently bought in the bay area and am intending to sell in June. I have been paying for a storage shed back there for years since moving out here and am hoping to drive back in June and clear it out, sell my present vehicle, and fly back out west.
The rig is...
Located in truckee, CA...pick up prefered...250.00
I made these for my wagon a few years back and they are pretty heavy-duty..they are painted with flat black high heat paint. I recently tipped the wagon and am selling it as a parts truck and starting the long process all over again...keeping...
I have an '83 fj60 in north tahoe. Was in great shape...tipped on passenger side recently. Has Weber 38mm, intake and ceramic header, as well as no cat. These factors mean no passing smog, therefore no registration.
Selling the truck and have been offered 1k-1.2k. It does have OME suspension...
