The Only cheap way is to import this car as spare parts car not to be registered or driven. Then buy a used beat down 80 series and put all the 70 series body and drive train on the 80's extended frame.
The front 80 series coil springs is the same diameter as the lj70. But the rears are wider on the 80 series. So you can use the front but custom make the rears.
If your HZJ has the H55 transmission then its a direct bolt on. But if it has the R15X transmission then the length of the winch propeller shaft should be shorter. But that can be fixed easily.
Sorry for not updating the thread but I had to leave town for work and my friends finished the job without any more photo's. But the engine install was good. The 1hdt is a night and day difference to the 3b lots of power. I rarely us 1st gear and drove it only once to 170kmh. I later upgraded...
I would pull the wipers into the up position off the windshield and test with out them touching the windshield to see if you have a weak motor first. If it still doesn't change speed off load then check to see if the wiper relay is getting a signal change when you switch to fast at the relay...
The wiper relay is located on the passenger side pillar behind the plastic side cover right next to the blower fan. The light dim relay is located under the steering column unit along with 5 other relays. You will hear it ticking when you switch between hi and low beam. Go to www.toydiy.com...

I can't believe I didn't see this thread before. Congratulation Alberto this is one bad ass cruiser and it went to the right person definitely. And seeing it in a desert tan color, in OHIO ....... WOW. I have to say this bad ass truck deserves a 1hdt. maybe in the future:):)

In general, the way many importers are bringing in cars is they're dismantling the whole car abroad and declaring the portions of the car as used car parts. The vehicle is then reassembled when it's stateside, brought into compliance, and registered as a kit car. The registration process...
