haha johnny on the spot @wimberosa
yes, i would like to, but i'm not opposed to letting them float around on ebay for a while at the higher price in case someone on the west coast is real motivated. just figured i'd refresh this post.
I think the bearings on the pump are bad because it was making noise. I wanted to post here before posting on eBay. Let me know if anyone is interested or needs more details.
Saw this at a shop in Ridgeland. First time I've seen this scheme on a 80 and thought it was pretty cool. Not sure if the owner is a member or not but the amount of sweet cruisers I see around Jackson never ceases to amaze me -- then again our roads require land cruisers...
Martin's or Lou's would be great. I'd be down for a Sat or Sun meetup pre-football as well. Too many nice cruisers rolling around town not to get a meetup together.
Anyone have any leads on a steering box and power steering pump? Dropped the 40 off with 49 Tire because of a leak and now I'm looking at some $$$ parts. I was just refilling the reservoir every few days and now it may be time to face the music...
I posted earlier this summer about trying to get a meetup going in Oxford. As luck would have it I wound up moving to Jackson last minute. Lookin forward to the meeting. Also thinking about airing down the M/T's a bit for our roads around here.
Broke a tie rod riding some light trails in Holly Springs National Forest last Saturday. Real pumped about how I got it out to the road and this is about the only place I know that would appreciate it. Pipe plus two ratchets did the trick.
Absolutely. Especially when the water rises during the summer. Differentials be damned back then. SMH. In true TLC fashion, I did this about 100X one summer before the diff finally went. It was the Wild West back then as well. There's a guard rail blocking End of the Road now.
Hello CLC, I just moved back to Oxford and have seen 2 or 3 40's cruising around. I was wondering if there were any members in the area? (I checked Bluff City as well but didn't see as much activity there). If not I'd like to make it down to a meeting some time. Here's my 40 that I've driven...
I have 4 Garmin Montana 610's. They are brand new and have never been opened. I am not really sure where the best place to sell them would be. If anyone is interested please email me at mitchmccauley79@gmail.com
They retail at around $400. I will let them go for $300 each.
