i only replaced the manifold gasket, spark plugs and i sent my Injectors to have them cleaned (they said they were dirty) only. i was going to replace the starter but i dont have an issue yet so i left it alone-labor here is not very expensive- when time comes, i will replace it
sorry
After years of struggling with this code, it finally got solved by replacing the intake manifold gasket as @2001LC mentioned in one his post. i had invisible leak and gasket was shot. i recommend replacing that every 100K. oh and spark plugs was a bit loose so i replaced them with new ones...
i would suggest to drop the pan and clean all solenoids with electrical cleaner, better if you can disconnect them and clean, then air pressure them before reinstalling.
I suggest you to clean all solenoids ( 7 of them I believe) with ONLY electrical cleaner then slow air pressure before you replace them, btw they are not cheap, I had success story with cleaning them from gunks.
update: as I discussed previously where I think I have fuel issue causing the code p0430. to recap, I did the following :
1- replaced fuel filter the code disappeared by itself but after awhile came back again.
2- disconnected the fuel filter and reconnect and the code vanished and back again...
I would bet good money that pump is causing code P0430 for my case as I concluded in my post Annoying P0430 need to solve it. #89
so what would be good replacement for Fuel pump?
Hi All,
I have few concerns about my 2007 lx with 260K Miles ride quality and would like your opinion.
when I read how other's compare their LX ride comfortless, I don't think I have that in mine. I can feel every bump on the road, specially when driving slow, and its worse if I drive over...
i heard some people has opened the engine pan and cleaned whatever is in there (dont know what is called) but oil buildup and fixed their oil pressure Gage problem.
210-220 is high, it should be around 190, check the fan clutch maybe its not doing its job. also make sure you don't have air trapped in the coolant system.
I removed the fuel filter earlier to check it if its clogged, gas was nice and clear. put it back together and drove for 10 miles, turned it off to have a bite turned it on and the lights were off.
my conclusion is I am having fuel issue and 90% from fuel pump. will replace it with oem at the...
no other codes, just p0430.
I am getting low voltage b1s1 just like the first screen I posted #49.
it got better when I replaced the fuel filter but its back again. @Julian Stead can you explain what's going on.?
