Kidphc's 2000 LC100 attempt to rebuild, maintenance and rebuild/build up.

Read about it, it is the connector inside of the fuse box. Maybe worth opening it and pinch then solder it back together.

Kidphc's 2000 LC100 attempt to rebuild, maintenance and rebuild/build up.

Figured the crank/no start. The EFI fuse connector is going bad.. "pushed it forward a bit (towards front of car), she started up, let pressure off she stalled. Now I need to find a good course of action.

Very true. Just a pain to hold the shelf up as I mock them. Welp another to add to the to do list. I completely feel you as far as the rust. She's rusting around the doglegs, more on the rocker. Somebody in her life decided to try the expanding foam fix. I already expect this to be a nightmare...

Kidphc's 2000 LC100 attempt to rebuild, maintenance and rebuild/build up.

Thx, I think she is far from good looking, alot more to go. Love the shelf and panels, still need to mount all the recovery equipment. The shelf rocks, since yesterday I was able to mount the kid's porty potty, and 2 camping chairs on it. Do you know if they have brackets that mount to the...

Do you daily your “built” 100?

Daily drive my 2000 100. That is why I bought it, replaced the Suburban as the daily and family weekend mobile. Gas? It drives to a gas station everyday. Do I wish it was more fuel economical, well just a hair. I would like to average 17 instead of 13 (pretty stock), more to do with range then...

Not LC specific. But still an awesome video explaining Toytota IFS and Lifts.

If you watch his other videos he goes through a lot. Same things that get repeated on this site about lifting, and droop etc. just thought the visual would help.

    Mount TRED/maxtracks on the side

Yeah.. Been staring at it for months. Trying to figure out if I want to make a bracket so it works with the stock roof rack.

    Mount TRED/maxtracks on the side

The victory 4x4 is available for the 100. Just need their rack. I would imagine you might be able to fashion a bracket to fit to your rack. https://www.victory4x4.com/product/VRK-SAP.html Bolts to Victory 4x4 Roof Racks and securely mounts to either driver or passanger rear window using a...

    Tensioner bolt stripped

Certainly just for the tensioner hole, tapping and heli-coiling it will be faster. Sorry again, mis read most of the post and ran with it. Attached a PDF with the blown out diagram to get an idea of what JunkCrzr89 was saying with it being the mating surface of the oil pan. should clear be...

    Tensioner bolt stripped

If you have a clear shot to the hole for the tensioner, re-tap and helicoil, be very slow and methodical. If the oil pump ain't leak, leave it alone. It is usually the end for a 98 camry. Why? On a 2000 Landcruiser you are looking at by the book hours about 16hrs. You have to pull the timing...

    100 series brakes

Truth in the first statement. Spoke to a Centric Sales Rep, they basically provide blanks for Brembo as well as several other manufacturers. Personally, sell 105 (pads) and 320 (GCX partial coated rotors) numbers to my customers. Most people don't realize cross drilling is to reduce weight when...

My wife drove all the way to work with the CDL engaged......

Eh, even on high traction surfaces, locking the differential is only a problem when turning. Then you can get drivetrain binding. Usually, noticeable by the extremely loud popping noises when the front or rear differentials thunking and sound like they are going to explode. That is the ring...

    LC 2001 - ODB options?

Looking at getting a Ultra gauge for my uzj100 to replace Torque, so I can get back to using it for APRSDROID mapping. Kinda of thought of this thread while looking at the gauge. Here is the link for the estimator of gauges for the HDJ100, you may want to contact them and see what it might be...

Kidphc's 2000 LC100 attempt to rebuild, maintenance and rebuild/build up.

I have joined the Facebook group a bit ago. Just not hugely active much less in groups that I usually join, little ones take up all the spare time. She looks pretty from afar, but eh get close and you can see the makeup caked on. I have soooooo much work to do on her. It is actually pretty...
