I have a 98 as well and I always use center diff lock when it is really bad out.
Basically whenever there is snow on the ground you can use it. When its wet and slushy awd is good enough.
You just want to make sure the ground is slipery when center diff is on so the wheels have some give when...
I cut the inside of my grill out to install a billet (wish I hadn't) but it came out good. Wasn't to bad. I used a hack saw and a dremmel to clean it up.
The oem ones are on ebay for like $30 if you ever want to go back.
Thats What I like to hear. There is so much concearn here about changing the t-belt, it even makes me worry a little. But I have never heard of anyone's breaking, or of anyone knowing of anyone's breaking or of anyone knowing of anyone that new anyone that - you get my point.

Mine's out too, decided to to do anything about. smack didn't work, it makes sense the d light would burn out since thats the one on all the time. I don't see why smaking would help?
I have these they are great. My kids love em. And they are not glass and my kids are in carseats so there is noway there face will be touching these anyways.
