Feeler.....but it may be time to part ways with the LX. In short,
-1996
-231,xxx miles
-new intake tube
-fresh plugs, distributor, button
-removed TB, cleaned intake port, new vacuum lines and VSV to conquer THE EGR code
-new alternator and belts
-3in lift front/ 2in rear
-new BFG Mud...
In short, I have a fabulous 96 LX that is throwing the EGR code. It also doesn't help that I must go through emissions testing. Through the several searches I have achieved the following; HOWEVER the code remains....
-EGR tests out
-Modulator tests out
-VSV works
-intake port is spotless
-temp...

Current battery was purchased/installed in 8/2012
Issue: Voltage light stays on
Initial Assessment: Checked belt tension, checked connections, cleaned everything I could an ran to Autozone where they stated that the truck was running on battery only.
Homework: checked FAQ's...
....very fortunate to have a another fellow Mud member help me with installing my snorkel. Looks fabulous, BUT the short intake tube from the snorkel to the air box is kinked, nothing crazy, but obviously with these beauties restrictions need to be at a minimum.
With that said, is this common...
From the "is it just me department?".........Is it just me or is there a issue w/ iPhones navigating Mud? I have been having CRAZY pop-up issues both when being logged in or if I'm offline. Done a reboot, deleted and reinstalled link, but still getting facebook pop-up's, etc.

Transmission shifts fine. No slipping. Unfortunately, when I place it in gear I get a slight metallic noise that is equivalent to a loose heat shield or like pebbles in a tin can. Any ideas?
Like many, I've had the PO401 code on my Lexus for nearly two years and started replacing the cheaper parts from the laundry list of fixes here and there. Long story short...bought some Sea Foam, followed the instructions and nearly 100 miles later, code is cleared. I have had luck running this...
Itching to get my new hitch installed, but the two top existing bolt holes are about to drive me crazy. After thoroughly cleaning them out I've been unable to get a 12mm with 1.25, 1.5, and 1.75 thread pitch to work. Any ideas?
