    Headlight Harness/Adapter Question

I've read through a number of different threads trying to find the answer to this but I think I'm even more confused now. I purchased a set of Depo lights off Ebay that will require H1/H4 bulbs from 9006/9005 This is what I ordered: Headlight Set Crystal Clear For TOYOTA Land Cruiser 80...

Rear Heavy Duty Swaybar owners got links that last?

Thanks for all your help, man! Looks like they are included so I'm gonna order the kit and if LCP informs me after the fact that I need more rivnuts, then I'll get them later. I'm in no rush at the moment EDIT: Ordered. @LandCruiserPhil if you see this, I have a 3" lift

Rear Heavy Duty Swaybar owners got links that last?

If I am understanding you correctly, even though my extension is mounted to the side of the rail, I should be able to mount this kit to the existing two holes under rail, which I verified are there, and which may or may not have a weld nut in them already. And if they do not have a weld nut...

Rear Heavy Duty Swaybar owners got links that last?

@LandCruiserPhil Just purchased a whiteline rear bar for my 1995 and was looking to replace the links and bushings but came across this thread and this set up looks more solid than oem. I have the ironman4x4 flat bar extension because my rear links are not the vertical setup like these -...

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Last weekend I removed the third row seatbelts. My plan is to put a fire-extinguisher on one side. In the meantime I installed a flashlight with some old quickgrips I had floating around. Took @retrofive ’s advice and used the lower bolt for a more flush fit and just added some washers behind...

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Im probably going to put a fire extinguisher there and if I don’t do two, then I will maybe fabricate some kind of flashlight holder or something - but I dig that tip!!

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Finally deleted the third row seatbelts. The passenger side bracket bolt was rusted so I had to cut it off, but other than that it was an easy process. I’m much happier now without those things in the way. I also kept the belt assemblies so if anyone wants to buy them, let me know.

    Replacement front seats

Curious on this, and still searching the threads. Found a 2001 hundy at a pick a part and am wondering if the seats will swap.

To Lock or Not to Lock? ... or, rather, are you Regeared and not Locked?

Yup. That was part of the convo today at IPOR. I don't need them right now. I may later, but I am going to wait until that point - and I don't mean when I get stuck, but when I am going to be doing more that may put me in positions where I need more than my winch or maxtrax - Which is a strong...

To Lock or Not to Lock? ... or, rather, are you Regeared and not Locked?

hahaha This topic actually came up today in the shop. Who knows in the future if I will get a hair and decide to go up a notch in size and just change everything :grinpimp:

To Lock or Not to Lock? ... or, rather, are you Regeared and not Locked?

I appreciate everyone's feedback on here, so thanks. Need to clarify a little here though as well. My third point was that I have plans for this truck and that includes doing more offroad. No - I do not take this to the mall and have no intention of adding a turbo or dropping my wheel size...

To Lock or Not to Lock? ... or, rather, are you Regeared and not Locked?

You and I are basically asking the same question. My intention was to regear at least, but not sure if I needed to lock. There are some nice options on here, but I still lean toward locking - even if it is at a later date.

To Lock or Not to Lock? ... or, rather, are you Regeared and not Locked?

Somehow I came up with a few hundred less than the 3k for the UD kit, 3:1 kit and labor included based on my shop's labor costs. I would spring for the few hundred and make that work. As far as lockers- I like the 'idea' of an auto locker, but I also would rather have control over when I am...

To Lock or Not to Lock? ... or, rather, are you Regeared and not Locked?

Thanks, Zack. I'm going to look into these options a little more and see what they can do for me. If IPOR can make it work for me then I may just go that route. I appreciate the help!

To Lock or Not to Lock? ... or, rather, are you Regeared and not Locked?

I found the Underdrive kit and looks like it's around $500. Doing this would give me the gear ratio I wanted in the first place it seems. The 3:1 kit is about $800 and I haven't found an auto locker, but if it is comparable to other lockers, then that is in the 1K+ range. But even at that -...

To Lock or Not to Lock? ... or, rather, are you Regeared and not Locked?

I'm definitely not gonna go down a tire size with as much life as I have left in these. Plus, I think 35s just look like they belong on this truck. As I said in my last post, I'm going to look into the UD kit. But any specifics on where, who, or what on any of these things? (the kit, the...

To Lock or Not to Lock? ... or, rather, are you Regeared and not Locked?

I've gone the 'run it in 2nd' route and I didn't like it. I didn't like holding it that high for that long and have to worry about temps and all of that. I also didn't feel that I gained that much in speed, which sucks going through a pass when there are trucks and others up my a$$ lol I...
