Strange scraping noise from he rear while turning

I just did the brake pads and rotors and I am having the same issue. Would the scraping noise just go away after awhile or is it just going to persist until the backing plate is replaced or rotor inner ring is ground down

Nope. I replaced the plug and it's now leaking more. I added bars stop leak and that helped significantly

    Looking for discontinued part 32906-60120

This is the little connector for the transmission cooler that sits below the driverside headlight. You should make a replacement kit as they are starting to rust out. And BTW I am one of the proud owners of your power steering cooler kit. Thanks.

    Cracked Block 1FZ-FE

Yea I did apply some permatex when I had popped the freeze plug out but maybe not enough or not the right area.😕 I'm constantly monitoring the coolant temp because prior to my overhaul, I had a bad radiator and was over heating, and the leaking coolant wasn't helping either. But so far it has...

    Cracked Block 1FZ-FE

So after I put her back together, and ran her for a couple days, the jbweld couldn't hold the leak. You can see in the photo that it broke through the jb weld and is leaking. Maybe a bad application of jb weld or just not the right fix for the job. So i resorted to using bars stop leak. It's...

    80 vs 100 Series

I have an 80 and 200 series and I love the 200 as a family hauler. I skipped over the 100 series so I don't have much input on the 100s but I did test drive a few. If 200 is in you budget, I'd consider it as well. They are plenty powerful, capable and comfortable.

I couldn't get the power piston bolt off so I ordered a reman from parts geek and it's pretty crappy. Ended up returning it and I just ordered a used oem that looked to be in decent condition from eBay.

Torch and hammer with the puller did the trick. Anybody know the exact number of those little bearing balls are in the gear box?

Knock sensor. Replace one or both?

Just for curiosity. Anyone know why the oem knock sensors are so much more expensive? Is it some high precision part?

    Power Steering Pump Replacement

Be careful when you pull the gear. Make sure the puller isn't pulling on any teeth. I ended up bending a few teeth when I pulled mine and had to order a new one

When you replace the knock sensor, do you need to replace both or is it OK to just replace one? Thanks
