Did a solo trip to Moab for 3 days of mountain bike riding followed by 3 days of racing (Moab-Rocks). Some nice weather as well as some wind.
Here are a few photos of the trip.
I put mine in gear (3rd gear?) and then rocked it (moved it) by hand (pushing). FYI, the mark is by the bell housing close to the starter, not on the pully. It might (should have) a cover at the bell housing.
And this last couple of weekends I managed to do a little more work on the camping set up, adding a long drawer that goes under the bed. Lot of detail work still to do on it, but taking shape.
Wow, it's been a while since I have provided any updates. Here is a summary.
Troopy got new Kenda Klever RT 33x9.5 tires
We also did another camping trip to the Tetons
I have traveled extensively (Mexico/Canada) with an FJ45 and love it.
If this couple

has been traveling the world in a BJ45 since 2003, you should be ok. :)
My guess is, that it will run/sag, as it is self leveling. If you are going to patch where the gasket goes, I would use :
PERMATEX RTV Gasket Maker: The Right Stuff, 7.5 oz, Pressurized Can w Trigger, Black, Oil Resistant
I had to use it on the gasket myself, as when I did this project, the...

Hope this helps

Ha, the first set does a great job of protecting the area around the tail lights, the second set (Large ones) protect the trailer I tow. A similar set of the large one was there when I purchased it, and kind of liked the look, so I replaced them with new ones when I installed the tire carrier.
Just got a set. So far very happy with them. Ride nice and balanced very well. Good traction on the snow. These replaced a set of BFGs 33x10.5. Comparison photo below.
My longest day in the Troopy was from Phoenix to North of Salt Lake City in Winter, (in the 750 mile range), while towing a small trailer. Do it and create some memories.
Not sure if this is the same issue. Mine would not run hot on engine temp, but after pushing the engine hard for a bit, would not want to idle, some times die and would not re-start until it cooled down a bit. I did a vacuum test and it was low. On advice from a mechanic mud member, I...
