Another vote against DT shocks. They were fine on my long armed WJ, but way under-gunned on my 80 series. OME are a relatively durable budget shock… but loaded down in a family rig, they should do fine.
The extenders are probably a good temp fix for you. I used them on a Tundra for a month...
Deflared 40th. I wish it were flared; to keep the rockers clean, and save me from repainting my sliders 3x/year ( from gravel chips, not big rock scrapes 😕)

I have a set in my 80… using them along with Planted brackets and Scheel Mann Vario XXLs. It takes the seat/brackets from good to great. This makes seating exceptionally comfortable, even for a 6’9”+ driver.
