Wanted to share this only because I’m going to check it out and seemed pretty neat to finally have a supplier in our part of the world and I think they may only be adverting on FB. Info attached.
Sorry to have not made any club meetings (I also need to renew), I’m at work most days they happen...
Here is my ‘40, with 33” tires. Does Dobson make a spring/shackle kit to maintain this height? Light load; always has hard top on, but no winch or excessive cargo load. Looking for a softer ride than my ancient OME’s I put on 20 years ago. Would love to flatten out that rear sag too.
All in working condition, replacing it with a Vintage Air system & no room to store. Can ship, but with prices right now it might cost a lot, willing to get a price though from UPS ground. Whole thing for $300 or: $100 for heater, $100 for blower, $30 for main duct $40 for each pull switch...
Luckily he isn't that kind of dog, haha. Anyway, we had a crazy day with an emergency call to rescue at 3-legged husky that had been abandoned, chained to a pole in San Bernardino. We are dealing with that now and may miss this meeting unfortunately. Will be mailing in a membership app and shall...
Congrats on the new project! I got mine in San Diego back in 1998 and still have it up here in Laguna Hills. Parts of the pre-rebuild rig are probably still littering the 5 & 805 in areas 😂
Hi all! 77 FJ40 with a mild sbc350, rebuilt stock 4spd & 168t flywheel. Going to need a clutch in a couple months, but the work entailed means I want to do it right.
I know that Advanced Adaptors suggest Luk clutches, and I also know that Centerforce and McLeod sell clutches made by holy...
Hello!! I have a 1977 stock 4spd & xfer, would really like to replace the xfer case with an Orion and am happy to pull mine out and send it to you, lol. If you’re still doing this, please let me know! Looking at Jan or Feb for this, money-wise!
Hi! Factory tank, OEM replacement sender from CCOT. Am going to check the ground later today, but am assuming I have to set a specific OHM range, which the computer is not self-discovering, I don't think.
I love my Dakoka Digital, but the only issue I have is the fuel gauge. I cannot seem to get it dialed in to read anything beyond full or empty. Anyone have advice?
Thank you guys!!
I got em working! Re-did the wiring to clean up potential problems there, rebuilt the hazard switch, which was ridiculously easy, and then found that the hazard flasher in the EZ harness is wired backwards. Fixed that and am off to the races! Now it’s time for the wipers, lol!
I’ve definitely been all over those schematics, which are awesome. Still confused on the solid green wire out of the hazard and the diff between GO(orange) & GR which are not explained. I saw one vague reference in a painless harness hazard switch that says to splice the GO somehow with...
I have a 77: anyone know what the Green/Orange wire on the turn sig goes to? No mention of that one anywhere on the schematics, so far as I can see! It is close to the GL & Gy, which I believe are the turn lights.
So sorry, world webt to hell and I forgot about this post! QP’s are 76-79, as far as the CCOT listing goes. I don’t know what/if there are differences for the 80’s models.
