Re: Rear Flat Springs
George; I only need the botton piece, but I don't think it ever came with the FJ40, only with the 45.
Let me know, I'm interested.
Re: Rear Flat Springs
i've got a set of springs off a 77 fj40 in the denver area.
Does your set has the botton srping (single one) flat that ususally is very thick?.
Problem: I'm in NY.
Let me know.

Do you mean that you have them by your place?
If so, give me a shout I'll buy them !
Dan.
I have order a lot from them, and "James" is a very helpfull guy. I had a problem once with a wrong part, I called them, and sent me a new one with no charge and even without returning the old one. They said I can keep it.

Rear Flat Springs
I need these flat springs for a project. They are the last one's of each rear spring pack. They are 2.5" wide and very thick.
Anybody has a pair ?
Thanks
Dan.
The cheapest way I think is adding 3F heads to the 2F engine. They are a little shorter plus you have the rotative valves. It uses the stock 2F intake manifold, but you have to add headers. I'm not good with numbers but it increased 20 mph specially going up highway hills.

Forgot to tell you that once i owned a FJ70. At the beginnig I did a 4" lift. Then I decided to go for a SOA but with flat springs and only gained 2 more inches. Plus the comfort and the axle travel.

Never had that beer ! But hey; Who doesn't (even at work!!! ). Anyway, I think you should get that 40 a good flat spring over. It will give plenty of space with those cuts even to run the new 40" MTR's.

I'm building my rear bumper at this moment. No pictures yet, but I will show soon. I have two Fj40 swing away tire carriers which I'm planning to adapt to my FJ60 and locate two 36" tires. It will stick out on the sides, but pretty good looking.
This is my second FJ60 bumper operation and...
