    highest mileage cruisers out there (original engines)

    96 lx450. PO babied the hell out of this thing at the lexus dealer. EGR is trying to burn out the CEL (i hope it goes out soon...lol), burns a little oil (top end job coming soon) but thats it. Im working on 30k worth of the 170k total.

    Loose stearing or what???

    So new aspect to the problem that may make sence. On cold morning when the vehicle is first started, the power steering pump is complaining. I can hear it straining and feel the differance in the wheel. Once the engine compartment gets toasty the sound and feel go away. Power steering pump?

    fire extinguisher mounting

    Where does everyone mount their fire extinguisher's. I've got mine in the driver side back seat door area. Really easy to get at, but it gets stomped all the time by kids, dogs getting in and out of the back. Any suggestions? Chris
