    Those are the rivets for the window flange, from the factory they are exposed. At some point that roof has been reglassed and the rivets were covered over that is why they look like they are pushing through.

    Do not trim the foam, it is there to protect the vinyl from the sharpe edge of the sheet metal. I'm guessing that the zip ties are temporary? Yes?

    It seems to me that there's a Toyota f type motor builder in Arizona, I ran across when I was getting ready to do the motor in my 40. they are just to far away from me so I went a different route.
