Having trouble with my drivers side master window switch. Window is stuck halfway, old switch had corrosion on a couple plugs and the circuit board. I got a new switch from the junk yard, it works great but the same drivers side window won’t work. Cleaned corrosion from tabs with baking soda and...
The head of my drivers side front ABS screw, which holds the sensor in place has popped off. I need to find a new screw to fill its place. Does anyone know what thread size they are? I can't find a part number, but its sold as a kit with the ABS sensor. It is the one pictured.
Pic from @Romer's...
I am about ready to pull the trigger on a new bumper to replace the stock one. Not looking to rock crawl, just looking for a clean bumper with protection from deer. There are lots around my area and two have ran into me in the past 2 years. I know that the best bumper for protection from deer...
Installed the Old Man Emu springs and shocks this weekend. First pic is a before shot. I went with the OME 850 and 863 heavy load springs with the Nitrocharger Sport long shocks. Feels really good and tight in turns and bumps. Still on the 285 yokohama geolandar g0015s and I'm happy with those...
Ordered some OME heavy springs this week. I need some shocks. What are my other options beside the OME nitrocharger? Looking to keep it under $100 a shock. Been tough finding part numbers for each company and finding what will be compatible. Hoping someone else will have some answers.
Eventually got a response after I threatened him with small claims court. I just wanted the two tone seats, but he went ahead and refunded me before giving me options of getting the actual seat covers I ordered or a refund. Me thinks he didn't have them. Which makes me wonder where his product...
Probably around 800 miles. The whole time I thought it was a bad wheel bearing. I didn't notice any major change in how it handled so the thought of it being suspension related hadn't even occur to me.
Also replaced heater control valve as it had rotted out.
While Lauren was up on the lift, I noticed what the clunking noise from the driver's side wheel was. The bottom of my shock stem had completely snapped off. Replacing this ASAP.
Btw, anyone know how to make my pictures smaller?
Here's what I started with the night before. One thing I needed was an axle seal puller. I had to get one from Advanced half way through the job.
The soup
Driver side birfield pulled
Packed in with moly grease.
I didn't take any pictures during the otherside because I was such a mess...
Just wanted to update the thread on what I've done. Mileage is at 230k. About 3 weeks ago, I received the Spector Off Road front axle rebuild kit for the 80 series and installed it. Took about 20 hours to do the thing by myself. On my drivers side, I had a bad axle seal and got the birfield soup...
Looking to see if the rancho rs5000 will fit on a cruiser with the 3-4" lift. I had them on my old cruiser in the past but only had a 2.5" lift. How would they size up? Part number is RS5208 and RS5207.
Interested in that too. I found some with the 60140 number at the same price. Would they work the same as the 60170? Mine is a 96.
I'll be waiting until they relist it. Thanks Tedward... no hard feelings.
I have this piece that is broken off at the top of my engine bay. It's a part of what I believe to be a control valve for the cooling system. I can't find the part number or name of it. Any ideas?
