Yes, sorry guys. I tried to just delete the add but couldn't figure out how. It has gone to BaT for auction so no longer for sale here. I'll post up a link when it goes live.
1997 Lexus LX450 - Headed to BAT for Auction
This is the 4th 80-series I have owned and has been the best one yet. Bought it in 2019 from a collector in Atlanta when he was making room for a G-Wagon. It was bone stock and he had just completed an oil pump rebuild and knuckle rebuild. It is one...
6’5”, 270. Feel like I’m driving a clown car most of the time. Have to wear my flattest shoes to give a little more knee/legroom. I fit pretty comfortably in a 200 but these 80’s are just a bit too small.
I’ve never had much luck selling anything here. A lot of tire kickers and story tellers but not a lot of buyers. BaT seemed like the best option to reach the most people and the ‘buyers’ tend to follow through with the sale.
Removed the factory running boards and cleaned her up for a potential BaT listing. Can't decide what to do. Love this thing but I'm just too tall to comfortably drive it and our boys are only getting bigger as well. BaT wants to list it 'no reserve' but I don't know if I could risk it going...
Tailgate. Body is perfect, it was a survivor that then got a full restore. New paint, nuts, bolts, the whole lot. If I have another one it will be in worse shape so I don't worry about where it is parked.
Submitted this ole girl for BaT auction today. She's a looker but I've decided I'm more of an 80 guy. Going to sell one of our 200's also and really thin down the herd. 1992 FJ62 (non-USA hence the year)
I bought it off pcarmarket (orignally Porsche auction site but sells everything now like Bring A Trailer). It was refurbished by House of Cruisers in Venezuela and imported to Miami where it had a FL clean title. I had it shipped to Knoxville, TN after winning the auction. Yes, it has AC...
No, both of my 200's have been purchased from the same guy in Knoxville, TN. Whenever he buys his wife a new Landcruiser (about every 5 yrs) I buy their outgoing car. Good deal for both of us.
Added a new addition (center, pictured with siblings), 2015 white 200. Trying to decide what to get rid of to make room in the garage. Leaning towards putting the 911 on BAT and keeping all the LCs. More useful for a family of 6.
Replaced my radiator for the second time this month. Bought a Koyo through Advance Auto. It developed a leak in the bottom crimp connection 250 miles after the install. Ordered another one and replaced it Sunday night. Cut my install time down by 3 hrs. Really hoping I don't have to do this...
Picked up a used (but never actually used) Warn 9.5 XP winch from a friend here in Knoxville. Got it mounted and wired up this weekend. Ordered an offset fairlead and fold flat shackle link last night. Rig is finally coming together.
Can't speak to your error. We don't have the diesel option in the US. I'm sure the same sequence of warning lights can indicate many different things even on the gas engine driven vehicles. This thread was created to help solve a specific problem caused by overfilling a gasoline 200 series...
Punched out a key tag so I can dump the non working RS3000 remote (who knew the Toyota RS3000's don't work on a LX450?) and still quickly identify my keys in the bowl.
