Looking at your thread it brings me back five years when I did the same thing to my 1984 bj42. My cruiser did not have as much rust as yours. I took it all apart and bagged and tagged everything.
What sucks is I gave up on her and I sold it.
Keep going on your truck it deserves it.
I have to make sure the money is well spent before I send off $8,000 over seas. I have been taken before sending money and it sucks.
I have to trust the guys in Australia.
I hear what your saying about hauling around guys all day and hauling loads. I do think there unique and will draw some attention and since I have a few days of lawns I'm sure I could haul a trailer and mowers. As it goes for the landscaping jobs I'm sure its ok for 2 yards on the tray dirt or...
I would have no problem buying off Phil. The truck is what it is and he is not going to bull s*** you when he has his name on this truck . The only reason I'm not buying it is I'm going ute first then troopie.
I can take some pictures when the snow is gone we are having one hell of a winter here. What sucks also is I bought the truck last Oct and I only took it out 2 or 3 times on short runs and have yet got to really enjoy it.
If your a shy person I would not drive one the first time I pulled into...
I don't think you have a hard time finding a 3B and putting one in may or may not add value. I would think as long as you keep the 2F on skid and put it in the garage your fine.
As it goes for my canvis cover on my bed the who I bought the truck off welded some steel pipe to the head rack and...
I have been talking to a few guys in Australia that are willing to do the leg work. If you look at Gumtree they are in the range of $7,000 give or take a few thousand. I know this can work its just finding the right trucks. Any trucks I do see I add another $3500 for shipping and so on.
But...
I'm going to change my business name as well its called I'm Stumped landscape and tree removal I'm thinking Desert oak landscape & Tree service what's you think and incorp a ute or two ,

I have a 2003 GMC 2500 pickup and it can haul loads over and above any truck around here. My reason for asking was everyone here has the same trucks and all landscapers use the same names they take two words and put them together. Like rock crest, spring valley, green leaf, anyways I...
I have a cool question could you use a 1983/84 HJ47 ute or Ute's for landscaping company . I was think of only using them in the summer months here in Canada and under coat them.
Question could you use one for a chip truck with chipper on back and use another one for pulling a trailer with...
In don't know if this is the right area for this but anyways I was wondering if a couple of 1983 or 1984 HJ47utes could handle hauling a trailer around with a couple yards of dirt and such and also be used as a truck a chipper combo.
They would be imported from oz and never driven in winter...
I was thinking diesel ute hj47 83/84 tray back . But I just look on gumtree and its seems about right there asking $6500 to $9500 for them. I'm in Canada so I can't see them in person which sucks.
