Gracias for chiming in. I’ve only heard about how 90 0% ethanol is not a good replacement for high horsepower motors like Vettes or Porsches. Couldn’t find anything about “regular motors”.
A gas station near me has 87 regular and then a 100% unleaded/no ethanol “90” as well.
So no mid grade or premium…
Been wondering if the no ethanol “90” could be the same as 91 or 93 premium with ethanol…
Anyone out there smart enough to know? I can’t find the answer on Mr. Google.
After owning 4 LCs (62,100x2,&200) I decided to jump into a LR when 200 series pricing hit $85-100k for PO units.
I felt like at that price level, the LCs value to “price for reliability ratio” had exceeded what I was willing to pay.
So I took the plunge on a ND110 and have been thoroughly...
I don’t think anyone is ever claiming it’s superior…it’s just really good technology for what it’s purpose is.
TFL just didn’t recognize/review the vehicle is built a certain way for a certain purpose.
As a current Defender owner, watching their first off road video where they aired down the 20” tires on the Defender and then slammed the wheel straight into a rock and blamed the manufacturer, was really hard to watch.
The factory manual says to not air down the tires as the traction control...
100% it's worth your time. People just usually didn't want to deal with it, and they would trade a vehicle in once it usually needed major service done, or right after an accident.

My father owned a wholesale lot back in the hay day. He valued and got trade-ins from dealerships all over when it was a relation business to know the GMs.
People’s cars were complete pieces of crap usually that required new brakes, tires almost always. Not to mention other cosmetic or interior...
As the proud owner of a new Defender, I just wanna say their traction control system is baller and is designed to not need as much flex.
with that said, I wish it flexed a little more, but I get it now after owning one. it’s an awesome vehicle.
