Need to replace the pump on a 69 f engine so I ordered the newer 2f pump but there is 3 fittings on top. What is the 3rd one for and do I just block it off?
I'll add:
14bolt and 60 from a CUCV w/ 37" military run flats from the hummers...that way in case you damage a tire all you have to do is find an abandoned hummer to steal a spare from...bolt on and go :D
I like the v-plow idea as well
Winches front and rear
For the price of a set of plugs I'd replace them as well...Black plug almost always equals weak spark and if you combine that with questionable fuel and/or timing being off a little it could definitely be a no run condition.
You're going to want a set of feeler gauges instead of a spark plug gap checker

My buddy has one that LOVES to attack electric fly swatters...He will jump 4++ feet just to zap his snout on it. :meh: Very hyper but an all around cool dog.
Spark at the points but not at the plugs? I'd start by disconnecting the coil from everything and applying a direct 12v to the positive terminal, then I would take another jumper wire and connect it to the negative terminal on the coil, then position the main coil wire (plug wire looking one...
Battery blankets suck. Use an under the battery pad style heater. I'd also add an oil pan heater, trans pan heater and block heater(allowing you to upgrade your coolant to a 60/40 mix. I really like synthetic oils but that's a personal preference. I lived in Alaska for years and am a service...
