    Power steering pump failed

    Anyone familiar enough with hydraulics to confirm this is cavitation damage? The pump also failed and it looks like there was some adhesion of the rotor to the vanes. Not sure if correlated.

    I don't have ATRAC, VSC, ABS any more. Thinking of just replacing the booster preventatively so I don't have to be paranoid about it giving out later. But can I use an earlier model year to reduce clutter and/or save money?
