I'm thinking of selling the 60. Not sure yet. But as I look at ebay, it seems like prices are holding strong or are even increasing lately. Is that just wishful thinking on my part, or are 60 prices pretty strong right now?
I've noticed a few symptoms slowly during the last two weeks or so and have decided they may be related. Here are the main issues: Headlights and signal lights are dead and the engine dies whenever I try to push in the choke, even when the engine is fully warmed up. It will run ok as long as I...
I'm looking at this boat: http://www.jpwinc.com/index.php?page=products&item_no=4365
It's sort of a cross between a cataraft and a canoe.
It's pricey, so I'm wondering if anybody has a suggestion for a more economical boat that's similar. I'd like something that I can run up to Class 3...
$pecter and MAF are both out of the rear, stock-length greasable shackles. They're both vague about when they might be in--"two or three weeks," they say. And I've already been waiting two or three weeks. So does anybody have another source for these? I know I can get the expensive ones, but...

This would be a great buy for somebody near NY. Looks like a total rust bucket with a lot of usable parts. Buy it now is $550.
I just ordered some poly bushings from MAF and they are not tight inside the spring eye. In fact, they don't even touch all the way around. I assume this is no good. Advice?
I'm wondering if you other SOA guys have a front sway bar set up like this. Again, this was one of those questions I've wondered about and finally got around to snapping pics today. If not, is this setup wrong?
Can anybody tell me what these wires are? I've wondered for a long time, and today I just happened to be underneath with a camera. I'm not having any problems; just curious.
How do I remove these clips? And is there anything else to keep in mind to take apart the leaves? I have a broken leaf and I'm going to pull a replacement from this donor spring pack.
Thanks!
A big thanks to Okie Dave for the free springs...now I just have to find the rest. I'm not having much luck locating stock replacement greasable shackles and/or greasable shackle bolts. I need poly bushings and greasable bolts or the entire shackle that all fit together.
Hey guys,
I've been on the IH8Mud board for a long time but just now noticed this sub-board for my home state. I live in Russellville, drive an '87 60 with SOA.
Just thought I'd say hi.
Chris
I need to replace my rear springs since one of the leaves on the driver's side is broken. I can get used OEM for $100 each or I can go with the 1 inch Ironmans for $150 for the set. I don't really want any lift since I have SOA and dont want any more height. But the rear does sag just slightly...
How common is a broken leaf in the spring pack? The top leaf in my rear driver's side pack has snapped just in front of the axle.
Opinions on buying a used spring pack?
Also, should I park it until I can replace it?
Thanks guys.
Has anybody tried swapping sides with your springs in an effort to fix Cruiser lean? I know they're marked to be installed on specific sides, so how does it work if they're swapped?
I've asked about this before, but thought it was time to ask again... has anybody ever figured out how to rig up an air compressor (belt-driven) in the stock smog pump location? Seems to make a ton of sense--gives you an idler pulley for the belt for those of us who have removed the air pump...
I read about this a few days ago but couldn't find it in a search... The screws in my driver side grab handle are stripped out, leaving the handle sort of just hanging there. Is there an easy way to fix it?
Nobody at my house seems too impressed with my new wheels and tires, so I thought I'd share them with you guys. BFG 35x2.50x15 on 15x8 Rockcrawlers (3.75 backspacing with 1/4 inch spacers in front). Radically changed the look of the truck.
I purchased them as a package deal from 4 Wheel...
Since I've been searching for a fairly narrow 35 inch tire, I was excited to see the Kumho MT listed here (http://www.kumhousa.com/Products/PtnDetails.asp?mainCatID=2&PtnID=834) as having a 10-inch section width (not tread width). Sounds like a nice narrow tire, but can anybody verify that for...
