As you can see, the text is faded. I tried googling for HJ61 Dashes and none turned up with legible text.
When it rains this turns on. I do not know what it means and would appreciate any insight.
Thank you
Hello all,
I have a 1987 Toyota HJ61. Yesterday while raining this light turned on on my dash. The words are faded so I do not know what it says.
I searched for diesel dash instruments but could not find one.
Can anyone tell me what this orange light is and why it might have turned on?
It...
Hello,
I am curious what the visors for the HJ61 with the roof mounted inclinometer are.
I bought normal 60 series one's and they are too long.
Are they just 70 series visors?
Ive searched but never got a clear answer.
I have a 87 HJ61 5spd Euro Spec.
My understanding of how this system works:
2WD- hubs unlocked, transfer case lever in H2.
4WD HI - Hubs locked, press H4 button. Transfer case lever is in H2 still, but light comes on and since the hubs are locked...
Hello MUD,
I have an early 80s model with the stock 15s. HDJ81 if it matters. It came with the 15s. I already have the OEM 16s.
I read somewhere that the rear caliper might cause rubbing? Im not sure if thats the case with going 16 to 15, or 15 to 16, or if that was only with a non OEM wheel...
For sale is my 1981 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ46. This particular BJ46 is a left hand drive model with a 3B engine and a 4 speed transmission.
It was purchased from the original family (so a one owner car).
The 3B has ~147,618 miles, but may go up as I take it out to keep everything moving. The 4...
Hey
I wanted to check if these were the correct part numbers for the temperature sensor: 83420-20020
and for the thermostat: 90916-03026
Are there any differences between the gas and diesel parts regarding these two?
Thank you,
Hello,
As the title says I am trying to get a radiator cap for my 61.
I ran across a MUD thread that gave this part number:
16401-54750
Does the 87 use the small cap? Is this correct part number?
Does DENSO make it?

Hey guys,
Since some of us cant go to Round up, we figured it would still be great to do a meet-up. We can all be jealous of the fun stories from round up, and meet some new members that have joined in the past.
With all of the activities happening in March its best we get this meet out...
The TW guys (now calling themselves TTC) are off roading at some back wood trails.
This is an open invite to you guys.

Hey guys,
We wanted to try having a southern location to give every location a chance.
We figured Texas Land and Cattle would be a good spot since parking is ample, and it is somewhat central.

Hey guys,
Since it's a new year and we (Tyler and I) noticed a steady increase in new members we figured we'd ask this question again so we can get a better idea of where the majority of the members live. With this information we can better plan events that are more convenient to the majority...
