    I put 60 miles on it highway and side road. Checked wheel bearing play both on the ground and up in the air seems to be good. Guess I did it right.

    Thanks for the info. I will certainly put some miles in her and do a good check before I head out. How common is it to have the bearings loosen? I followed the preload instructions ( using fish scale) and it was within specs. Also I have read that if bearings are too tight the hub gets hotter...
