Hey folks:
I have a silver-faced instrument cluster for a Land Cruiser FJ40 for sale. Please see attached photos for exact physical condition. I have not used it in a truck to test it out. It is sold as-is. I’m asking $2,200 or best offer. Please let me know if you have any questions. Purchase...
I realize this was posted quite a while back, but I thought I’d let you know I have an early 60s silver faced FJ40 instrument cluster if you’re still looking for one. You can contact me directly if you’re interested. I’m also going to list it to the wider group.
Best,
Reuben
Hey folks:
I have a bifold door from a 1963 or 1964 FJ40 corrugated hardtop up for sale. The glass looks original. Please see the attached photos for the condition. I'm asking $450 OBO plus shipping. I can provide a shipping estimate upon request. Buy with confidence ... I've been on Mud for a...
I have a pair of OEM soft doors, including handles, etc. They need to be restored, but I'm pretty sure all the steel is there for a full set of doors. I'm also sending a PM. Let me know if you are interested.
I can also attest to having one of these in my 72 FJ40. I’m very satisfied. Here’s a photo of it in my dash. Now I have to refurbish my other knobs so everything blends together better!
Very satisfied!

Hey folks ... I recently bought one of these weatherstrips and had a great experience with the seller! Just thought I'd share that for anyone considering ordering the weatherstrip.
I have a pair that is pretty nice overall sitting in my barn that I need to get rid of. There may be one scratch worth noting, but I'll have to look at them again. I can take photos this afternoon if you are interested. Please PM me if you are interested.
Best,
Reuben
Assuming these are still available (I’m guessing this is a long shot) …
I’m sorry if I missed this info in the thread - how early are these? I need seats for my 1962 FJ40. It’s the only FJ40 that early that I’ve seen up close, but I at least know the seats in it are incorrect (well, the...
I might be able to help you with that. I’ll have to look at the condition of the light I’m thinking about at my barn tomorrow. I’ll PM you once I take a look at the lights I have on hand.
Yep, the digital chargers are just too smart! I'm using the power source pictured below. I use it to do both plating and rust removal. It was pricey compared to an old-school charger, but it is very adjustable in terms of voltages and amperage.
Nice work! I have thought about doing this as well. I may end up doing it for my 1975 since I'm planning to run it with a factory soft top. Thanks for sharing!
So, this is my first project door. I bought this door and it’s mate as a “rust free” pair only to find out much later that they had been fairly skillfully “repaired” with filler. You can see the rot along the bottom in the first photo paired with the top from the donor door. I thought that the...
Here's my second FJ40, which I've had since 2005. I flew out to get it from Bellingham, WA. I did a "quick resto" on it with some bodywork and paint and ran it for awhile like that. Around 2010 or so, I decided to do a 3FE engine swap into it, and that ultimately led to a frame-off restoration...
Hey folks:
I have a couple of FJ40s to add. My most recent acquisition is my 1962 FJ40 FST
Frame: 2-FJ40-14672 F-engine: F 163780
It's on the slow and steady track to ultimately be restored to as close to factory as possible. It runs, and I'm going to try to drive it around occasionally as a...
